Dr. Ina Maxwell is the District Instructional Facilitator for Cumberland County Schools. Dr. Maxwell has taught first through eighth grade. During her twenty-three years as a classroom teacher, she has sponsored numerous clubs and events. While a classroom teacher, Dr. Maxwell received numerous recognitions including Cumberland County Teacher of the Year for Grades K-4, Cumberland County Teacher of the Year for Grades 5-8, and Tennessee Reading Teacher of the Year. She is an active member of the TTU Reading Council and the Tennessee Reading Association. She serves as the Celebrate Literacy Chair and Reading Olympics Chair for the TTU-IRA. She is the recording secretary and Family Literacy state chair for the Tennessee Reading Association. She is an alumnus of Cumberland County High School. She received her Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Tennessee Tech University
