Mr. Taylor had a twenty-seven year career in manufacturing as a first line Materials Manager. In that role, his responsibilities included Purchasing, Inventory Control, Production Planning, Customer Service and Data Analysis for a factory of 250 employees. As well, he earned CPIM certification (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) from APICS, a globally recognized, professional association for supply chain management. In 2001 he retired and chose to return to school to earn a teaching degree from Tennessee Tech (B.S., 2004). That career change resulted in an 11-year classroom experience (10 at CCHS) and the pursuit of a James Madison Fellowship that he received in 2013. The Madison Fellowship Grant led to a Masters Degree program through Ashland University, which he completed in 2015. Mr. Taylor proudly holds the distinction of M.A. as part of his resume. The opportunity to serve and teach over 8,000 students, faculty, and staff led to his decision to accept the assignment as Student Information Services Administrator in 2016.
