As a native of Cumberland County,  I, Marsha Polson, am a blessed product of Cumberland County Schools.  I graduated from Cumberland County High School, attended Roane State Community College, and graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelors degree in nursing.  I have worked at Cumberland Medical Center for the past 23 years in several capacities and work presently as needed in Nursing Administration.  I left full time at the hospital in hopes to better health care by working with the schools.  I became a certified teacher and took a position teaching Health Science at SMHS and CCHS for one-half a year and then, full time at CCHS for 3 years.  As time has progressed, I have had the opportunity to serve our county as the Director of Health Services, and now with the addition of Coordinated School Health.  My passion is to see everyone in Cumberland County from the elderly to the children healthy and educated regarding health care.
