Dr. Leslie Eldridge

 

College, Career & Technical Education Director 

 

Dr. Eldridge is a native of Cumberland County and is in her 19th year of education. She began her career at Spring City Middle School, serving as a middle school counselor before coming to Cumberland County High School as a school counselor and nine years later to the Cumberland County Central Office in the CTE Department. After that, she served as the Upper Cumberland CTE Consultant at the Tennessee Department of Education. Dr. Eldridge was tasked as an adjunct faculty member for Tennessee Technological University. She has also enjoyed head and assistant coaching positions in girls' basketball at the middle and high school levels. Her most recent assignment was CTE Supervisor in the Putnam County School System.

 

Dr. Eldridge holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts and Education Specialist degree in PreK-12 school counseling/educational psychology, all from Tennessee Technological University. She received her Doctorate of Philosophy in Psychology from Capella University and most recently earned her Educational Leadership Endorsement from The University of Tennessee Martin.

 

Dr. Eldridge looks forward to returning to the Cumberland County School System as the CCTE Director to serve the great students, families, staff, faculty, business partners, post-secondary partners, and the community.
