Rebecca Farley earned a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Argosy University
in 2011. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies in 1999 and Master’s
degree in Instructional Leadership in 2001, both from Tennessee Technological University.
Rebecca began her teaching career at North Cumberland Elementary where she taught seventh
grade math for six years before becoming the Assistant Principal for one year. She served as
principal at Crab Orchard Elementary for ten years before moving to her current position as
Supervisor of Instruction for grades PreK-8 in July 2016.
As Supervisor of Instruction for grades PreK - 8th, Dr. Farley assists principals, assistant
principals, and teachers in various ways. She also serves as the PreK Director.
District Inventory Control Clerk
Marilyn was born and raised in Wayne County Michigan on the outskirts of Detroit. One of her first jobs was an inventory clerk for Triangle Automotive Supply in Detroit as a vocational job while attending Redford Union High School before graduating. She has lived in Tennessee for 27 years. Her introduction into the education system started at Pleasant Hill Elementary School, where her three children attended. During their summer programs she worked assisting teachers for a few summers before becoming a Paraprofessional and working full time at Pleasant Hill in 2003. In November of 2017 Marilyn accepted the position at Central Services as District Inventory Control Clerk and Textbook Coordinator. Marilyn is actively working towards ensuring that the district has an accurate functioning inventory system as well as coordinating textbooks throughout the school system.
